Materials:

• Cardboard tube

• Cardboard square for base

• Square-ish piece of material for bottom

• Material for wrapping tube

• Paint – color options: black, red, green, blue, yellow or  none (you will provide your own)

• Scissor

• Paint brush

• Glue (tacky recommended for gluing material to circle, Hot Glue best for applying material to wrap around the tube but tacky glue can also work)

• Paint brush

Instructions

1. Using the tube, trace a circle on the cardboard. Cut the circle out.

2. Glue material intended for bottom to the cut out circle. Allow glue to set (dry). Trim excess material.

3. Paint the cardboard tube as desired. Paint inside, outside and along the edges is suggested but the end design is up to you.  Allow time to dry

4. Glue material covered circle to the base of the tube (edge of the tube you intend for the bottom) with the material side facing away from the cut. Apply glue to either the cut edge of the tube (recommended) or the outer edge of the circle.

5. Allow glue to set up.

6. The use is up to you. Some suggestions: storing misc. small items, as a cover for a small potted plant or ???
